Spend a Day with the Amish

Join us as we travel to Amish country. We’ll be able to step back to a single time and way of life. First we’ll tour two authentic Amish homes. Next we’ll have the opportunity to tour an Amish school house, learning the Amish school system. We’ll also take a buggy ride and walk through an Amish barn. After that, it’s off to Der Dutchman for a delicious meal. Enjoy a slower pace and experience the finest in Amish cooking. After lunch, we visit the Amish Flea Market, voted the #1 tourist attraction in Holmes County. There are over 500 shopping booths in a three-building complex connected under one roof. Here you can sample and buy your meats, cheeses, noodles, jams and jellies. You will find home decor, collectibles, crafts, antiques, primitive folk art, wood products, clothing, furniture, candles, toys, tools, quilts, and more! You can experience a therapeutic massage, enjoy a cappuccino, and browse in a Christian book store.
